Triple success for sporty High School girls
Spalding High School's girls have enjoyed sporting success in football, cricket and cross country running.
The U16 football team won the Lincolnshire County Cup final with a 4-0 victory over Bourne Grammar School at Sleaford Town FC.
The team have worked hard all season and spent hours training and preparing for their matches so should be proud of their achievement.
The U13 indoor cricket team were crowned county champions following a convincing victory against Banovallum School of Horncastle.
After victories against Bourne and Giles Academies in the area qualifying rounds, big hitting from Sophie Smith and Alice Gammon enabled the girls to win the county final with ease.
The U15 girls team just missed out on the double, finishing runners-up in their county final.
Lottie Hemmings and Molly Peel both finished first in their races to secure Fenland Cross Country League success for the High School's junior and intermediate teams.
The duo then teamed up with Alexa Boole and Emily Richards to add the prestigious relay shield to their victories.
